How much does a field robot cost? +
The price depends on the configuration and area, from a single sports field to an entire complex. Contact us for a no-obligation tailored quote, or request a free field audit first.
When does the machine pay for itself? +
With typical use, the payback period is between 12 and 24 months. Our advisory meeting always starts by calculating your specific ROI based on your current labour costs and maintenance hours.
Can I lease instead of buy? +
Yes. Besides purchase, we offer operational leasing. Leasing keeps the machine off your balance sheet and is tax-efficient for Belgian organisations.
Are subsidies available? +
Depending on your region and sector, there may be support schemes for sustainability or innovation. We help you map them out during the advisory meeting.
Operation & maintenance.
Does the machine also work at night and in bad weather? +
Yes, night work is possible because RTK-GPS does not need daylight. Rain depends on the model. The FJD FRX is rated IPX5 and can work in the rain, the other mowers are rated IPX4 or IP64. In heavy rain it is better to schedule the task later, also because mowing waterlogged grass damages the turf.
Who takes care of maintenance? +
VerdaMachina, from Belgium. All technical support, firmware updates and maintenance go directly through us, one point of contact, no foreign service desk.
How safe is the machine on public grounds? +
Depending on the model, LiDAR or cameras detect obstacles on the route, after which the machine slows down, steers around them or stops. The Rough Ranger combines 360° LiDAR with front and rear bumpers. During work you mark off the zone as you would for manual maintenance, and you follow the machine live in the app.
Can I see it live on my own field first? +
Yes. We bring the machine to your location for a demo on your own field. If you want to test for longer, we set up a one-week pilot.
Which sectors do you serve? +
Football and hockey clubs, golf courses, municipalities, schools and universities, and recreation parks. For line marking on paved surfaces also car parks, business parks and airports.
